The AN Hinged Series of diecast aluminum enclosures features a hinged cover for convenient access to internal components. Made of heavy-duty die-cast aluminum, the NEMA 4X boxes meet NEMA 1, 2, 4, 4x, 12, and 13. Supplied external mounting brackets are easy to assemble for mounting to a wall or other flat surface.
They are used for housing a wide variety of devices including lighting controls, battery packs, and medical monitors. Other applications include fluid transfer and transportation, including switch boxes for trains.
