SCH Series IP65 ABS Plastic Enclosures

The SCH Series of enclosures has a number of distinctive features that add to its versatility and value. Both the cover and body are made of durable ABS plastic, including hinge and latch. The wide latch allows for a secure closure while also providing easy opening for quick access. The latch has provisions for a small padlock, zip-tie, or tagout tags.

A continuous, poured-in-place foam gasket gives the box an IP 65 rating, protecting components from factory washdown and dusty environments. The bottom of the enclosure has molded-in flanges that accept DIN rail mounting. The bottom also has three or four knockouts of different standard sizes, offering versatility during installation. Inside the box, stand-offs are provided for convenient and sturdy PCB mounting. The high-strength plastic construction avoids corrosion and provides a long service life, but it is suitable for indoor use only (no UV protection).

These features make the SCH enclosures ideal for factory control and automation applications, and for junction boxes.
