The PIP Series of fiberglass boxes features polycarbonate plastic reinforced with 10% glass fibers for extreme durability. Suitable for harsh indoor and outdoor environments, the boxes meet IP67 (temporary submersion) and NEMA 1, 2, 4, 4x and 6 specifications. Clear covers are an option. They are ideal for PCB enclosures, junction boxes and other applications in the electrical and electronic industries.
Bud is in the process of replacing some of the molds on this product series as they wear out. In response to customer demand on those size, we are changing ratio of lid height to base but keeping the overall box dimensions the same. The new boxes will be designated with a suffix of “-F” or “-FC for the clear lid versions”. Once the current inventory is exhausted, the original version will no longer be available from Bud but may still be available from our distribution base.
