Sager wins Bud’s 2024 Modification Growth Award

Published on: May 30, 2025 by Josiah Haas

Bud Industries is proud to announce that Sager Electronics has been honored with our 2024 Modification Success Award, recognizing their exceptional achievements in growing our mutual modified enclosure business. This award celebrates Sager’s remarkable 42% year-over-year growth in modified part numbers and an astounding 78% growth in modification sales which is a true testament to their commitment to delivering tailored solutions for customers across industries and aligning what Bud does well with their Custom Solutions.

What really stands out is how Sager’s sales team worked hand in hand with their Custom Solutions group in Texas while partnering with Bud’s corporate management and Bud’s outside sales reps.  By focusing on modifications, Sager empowered their customers to receive enclosures built to their exact specification, which reduces steps in the customer’s supply chain and increasing overall efficiency. When a customer receives a ready-to-use, custom Bud enclosure through a single distributor relationship, it simplifies procurement and increases satisfaction.

“We are thrilled by the modification and customization success in 2024 by the team at Sager,” said Josiah Haas, President of Bud Industries. “Modification sales create annuity customers who want to continue to work with us. To experience 42% growth in the physical number of modified parts in 2024 up from 2023 exceeded more than what I thought was possible  Their ability to position Bud’s modification capabilities as a value-add to customers is exactly what makes them a standout partner.”
